Welcome to,

Hilton Pre-Primary School!

Hilton Pre-Primary School is a forward-thinking, Christian-based educational centre. We endeavour to provide each pupil with a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in which they have every opportunity to develop to their full potential.

Our holistic approach to education encompasses all areas of child development namely physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual, ensuring that we produce pupils who are well prepared for primary school.

To this end, we strive to work in close co-operation with the child’s home, offering a supportive and friendly environment that nurtures independence and responsibility.

Our Programs

It is very important to us that children learn mainly through play! All our programs are therefore focused on engaging your children in a fun, creative and loving environment.

About Our School

At our school you will find forward thinkers , problem solvers and children with Grit and perseverance. Children who are not afraid to voice an opinion and express their emotions. Our school endeavours to encourage all aspects of learning.

Parental Involvement

We believe in a holistic approach to education and therefore a strong link with home is of huge importance to the staff at Hilton pre-primary. We offer feedback to parents in the form of parent interviews in the first and third term and a written report in the second and the fourth term. We pride ourselves on the early detection of learning difficulties and our grade R class is assessed for school readiness before they are promoted into grade 1. Parents are also invited to join the school’s Parent’s committee.

Strict standards are applied to ensure the safety and health of the children. Each play area is structured and supervised by a teacher. Members of staff are all trained in first aid and basic CPR.
